Maxemarker
Live markers for ATEM & DaVinci Resolve. Tap to mark moments while you record – afterwards the markers sit frame-accurately on your clips in Resolve.
iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch · iOS 17 / watchOS 10 or later · English and German
How it works
1 · Connect
Your iPhone connects to the ATEM over Wi‑Fi or directly with a LAN adapter and reads timecode and recording status.
2 · Mark
Big colored buttons for highlight, flub, retake, cut – rename them as you like. Every marker gets the exact ATEM timecode.
3 · Bring them into Resolve
The script picks up the marker file from the exchange folder and places the markers on the clips of the ATEM project.
Features
- Markers on the clips – they move along when you cut, move and trim.
- Automatic exchange via iCloud Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive or a network share – no AirDrop needed, on Mac and Windows.
- Real multicam timeline from the ATEM project: cut like the live edit, switch any section to another camera with one click.
- Swap in better footage: replace ATEM ISO files with camera originals – via timecode or, for cameras without shared timecode, via camera sync: just photograph the timecode on the camera display.
- Drones & cameras without timecode: press the start button in the app as you start recording – the script matches the files automatically.
- Direct LAN connection – works in closed client networks without Wi‑Fi, with a network check in the app.
- Export as EDL, JSON and CSV – also for the free version of Resolve (EDL import).
- Apple Watch: place markers right from your wrist – same buttons, double tap for the first one and a short tap on the wrist as confirmation.
- No-ATEM mode: work or try it without a switcher, timecode from the iPhone clock.
Supported switchers
ATEM switchers with recording, e.g. ATEM Mini Pro ISO, ATEM Mini Extreme ISO, ATEM SDI Extreme ISO and ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO. The Resolve features need DaVinci Resolve Studio (version 18 or later); the free version can import the markers as EDL.
Resolve script
The script for Mac and Windows is included with your purchase and comes straight from the app: Settings › Resolve script for Mac and Windows. It runs inside Resolve – nothing else to install on Windows – and only works together with the app.
